- Abstract:
Researchers from Federal University in Brazil conducted a study on the modulation of the Focal Adhesion pathway in JAK2 V617F-positive cells treated with the drug Ruxolitinib. The study aimed to understand the factors influencing the effectiveness of Ruxolitinib in reducing malignant clones and resistance in Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs). Through RNAseq analysis of two datasets, researchers identified common differentially expressed genes (DEGs) related to the Focal Adhesion pathway, which plays a crucial role in cell viability, migration, and apoptosis. The findings suggest that further investigation into these genes could enhance the understanding of MPN treatment and prognosis. [Extracted from the article]
