- Abstract:
A recent study conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has found that a combination of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), folic acid (FA), vitamin B12, and hyaluronic acid (HA) can decrease human papillomavirus (HPV) positivity in women. The study enrolled 163 women with a positive HPV DNA test or previous history of HPV infections, and the treatment group received the oral combination for three months. The treatment group experienced a significant reduction in HPV positivity and an improvement in cervical lesions compared to the control group. This research provides insight into potential innovative therapies for HPV. [Extracted from the article]
