    • Abstract:
A recent study conducted at the University of Baghdad examined the cephalometric differences between grades II and IV adenoid hypertrophy. The study involved 120 patients aged 6-12 years old and used cephalometric radiographs to measure various points and angles in the craniofacial region. The results showed significant differences between the two grades of adenoid hypertrophy, suggesting that craniofacial changes occur as the adenoids enlarge. The researchers concluded that urgent medical intervention and orthodontic treatment may be necessary to establish nasal breathing in severe cases of adenoid hypertrophy. [Extracted from the article]
