    • Abstract:
      The international conference was attended by specialists from the USA, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Turkey, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, and other countries, as well as representatives of major publishing and information companies. For instance, on May 15 of this year, Anne Hedrick, a leading specialist at the University of Utah Library, participated in an international forum of librarians who are members of the Eurasian Library Assembly as part of the implementation of the interstate program «Samarkand - Cultural Capital of the CIS - 2024». The aim of these events is to activate international cooperation in the activities of libraries, educational, and scientific organizations, develop common approaches to shaping a unified information space for CIS countries, and expand opportunities for intercultural dialogue.       В работе международной конференции приняли участие специалисты из США, Белоруссии, Азербайджана, Казахстана, Кыргызстана, России, Турции, Таджикиста- на, Нидерландов и других стран, представители крупных издательских и информационных компаний. К слову, 15 мая сего года ведущий специалист библиотеки Университета Юта Энн Хедрич приняла участие в международном форуме библиотекарей-членов Евразийской би- блиотечной Ассамблеи в рамках реализации межгосударственной программы «Самарканд – культурная столица СНГ – 2024». Цель данных мероприятий - активизация международно- го сотрудничества в деятельности библиотек, учебных и научных организаций, разработка общих подходов к формированию единого информационного пространства стран СНГ, рас- ширение возможностей для межкультурного диалога [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
