Akses dan Perlindungan Informasi Digital pada Layanan Repository Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak. (Indonesian)

Institutional Repository is a system that specifically manages local collection information in digital form belonging to institutions that can provide benefits to the Pontianak Muhammadiyah University library. This research aims to describe access and information protection strategies for digital collections and to describe providing user information access to repository services. The research method used in this research is a case study with descriptive analysis using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used interviews with 2 informants, observation, and documentation. The results of this research show that the Pontianak Muhammadiyah University Library has managed the repository well but has not implemented an open information access policy for users. All collections in the form of final assignments in the repository are limited to only the beginning and final chapters which can be accessed and downloaded. The digital collection security strategy; First, not all digital collections stored in the repository can be downloaded in full text and can only be read, secondly to secure digital collections in the repository using the Cloudflare VPN application on Linux servers, thirdly to collaborate with service providers so that the available servers are always stable and able to control and secure digital collections. Repository managers are expected to collaborate with lecturers to provide guidance and training regarding writing good scientific papers so that student work is worthy of being published openly in the repository. Institutional Repository sebagai sistem yang khusus mengelola informasi koleksi lokal dalam bentuk digital milik institusi yang mampu memberikan manfaat bagi perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan akses dan strategi perlindungan informasi terhadap koleksi digital serta mendeskripsikan pemberian akses informasi pengguna terhadap layanan repository. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan analisis deskriptif melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara terhadap 2 informan, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Perpustakaan Universitas Muhammadiyah Pontianak sudah mengelola repository dengan baik akan tetapi belum menerapkan kebijakan akses informasi terbuka kepada pengguna. Seluruh koleksi berupa tugas akhir yang ada pada repository baru sebatas bagian awal dan bab akhir saja yang dapat diakses dan didownload. Adapun strategi pengamanan koleksi digital; Pertama koleksi digital yang tersimpan di repository tidak semuanya bisa didownload secara full text dan hanya bisa dibaca, kedua untuk mengamankan koleksi digital pada repository menggunakan aplikasi VPN Cloudflare pada server Linux, ketiga melakukan kerja sama dengan pihak penyedia` jasa agar server yang tersedia selalu stabil dan mampu mengendalikan serta mengamankan koleksi digital. Pengelola repository diharapkan berkolaborasi dengan dosen untuk melakukan pembimbingan dan pelatihan terkait penulis karya ilmiah yang baik sehingga karya mahasiswa layak dipublikasikan secara terbuka di repository.
