- Additional Information
- Abstract:
Several beaches in Maryland and Delaware, including Fenwick Island, Ocean City, Dewey Beach, the Indian River Inlet, and Assateague Island, have been closed after medical waste, including hypodermic needles, washed ashore. Emergency Response Teams are on the scene, and health authorities are investigating the source of the debris. Until the beaches are deemed safe, visitors are advised to wear shoes on the sand and avoid ocean activities. [Extracted from the article]
