    • Abstract:
This article discusses a case study of a 37-year-old woman who was referred to a medical center during her third trimester of pregnancy. An ultrasound scan revealed the presence of an intra-abdominal mass near the abdominal wall and umbilical cord insertion. The mass was diagnosed as an isolated fetal intra-abdominal umbilical vein varix (FIUVV) using color Doppler ultrasound. Three-dimensional reconstruction of the varix was performed, confirming its continuity with the umbilical vein and ruling out complications such as thrombosis. The woman gave birth to a healthy baby without any complications, who is now 9 months old and asymptomatic. [Extracted from the article]
