    • Abstract:
Santa Fe is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Zozobra, a giant puppet that is burned to symbolize the end of suffering. The Santa Fe Kiwanis Club, who inherited the creation from artist William Howard Shuster Jr., has been planning the anniversary for a decade with the help of a committee of non-Kiwanis residents. The event will feature a fireworks display and pay tribute to Shuster's diary entries. Security measures will be in place for the large event. [Extracted from the article]
