Short segment myelitis as a dominant manifestation of cryptococcal infection: a case report.

Cryptococcal infection of central nervous system commonly involves meningitis or meningoencephalitis, but rarely mimics inflammatory myelitis. We present short segment myelitis as a dominant manifestation caused by Cryptococcus neoformans in a patient with nephrotic syndrome under immunosuppressive therapy.
