- Additional Information
- Abstract:
A 79-year-old woman with a history of breast cancer experienced lack of efficacy during treatment with zoledronic acid for hypercalcaemia. She was hospitalized due to worsening abdominal pain, asthenia, and weight loss. Further investigation revealed the diagnosis of EBV-positive inflammatory follicular dendritic cell sarcoma (FDCS). Despite treatment with zoledronic acid, her condition did not improve. She was subsequently treated with denosumab, tocilizumab, and gemcitabine, which led to significant improvement. However, her condition eventually deteriorated, and she passed away. [Extracted from the article]
