      The ABI Technik Prize 2024 with the motto "Places of Exchange" was awarded to the Kreisarchiv Viersen and the Vorarlberger State Library in Bregenz. The National Library of Luxembourg and the City Library of Mönchengladbach received special recognition from the jury. The prize honors sustainable archive and library construction and recognizes institutions that stand out for their architectural language and open access. The Kreisarchiv Viersen impressed with its new building, which allows for the reuse of the old Kempen castle complex. The Vorarlberger State Library in Bregenz is awarded for its peaceful location with a view of the lake and the bridge between traditional knowledge and the digital age.       Der ABI Technik-Preis 2024 mit dem Motto "Orte des Austauschs" wurde an das Kreisarchiv Viersen und die Vorarlberger Landesbibliothek in Bregenz verliehen. Die Nationalbibliothek Luxemburg und die Stadtbibliothek Mönchengladbach erhielten eine besondere Anerkennung der Jury. Der Preis würdigt nachhaltigen Archiv- und Bibliotheksbau und zeichnet Einrichtungen aus, die sich durch ihre Architektursprache und offenen Zugang auszeichnen. Das Kreisarchiv Viersen überzeugte mit seinem Neubau, der eine Nachnutzung der alten Burganlage Kempen ermöglicht.
