    • Abstract:
Sunday Agbonika, a veterinarian from Nigeria, was inspired by his childhood dog to learn more about how animals can help people. After coming across a video about living with autism, Agbonika realized that his background with animals could support neurodivergent children. He now runs the Dogalov HumAn Support Initiative in Nigeria, using animals to assist children with autism. Agbonika also studies animal welfare and behavior through the University of Pennsylvania. In Nigeria, there has been an increase in pet ownership, with more people becoming interested in having trained dogs. [Extracted from the article]
