- Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to describe and prove the role of organizational culture in improving member performance in the organization. This research uses qualitative methods with in-depth interview techniques. The results showed that organizational culture proved to have an important role for the continuity of student association organizational activities or the performance of members of the organization. The organizational culture in the student association environment is very good. Then added with the performance of the members in the student association is also very good. One of the supporting factors is an organizational culture that supports and humanizes its members. Organizational leaders should care about organizational culture because it will have a direct impact on the performance of its members, such as increased quality and quantity, high enthusiasm, contributing and feeling fully responsible. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menjabarkan serta membuktikan peran budaya organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja anggota dalam organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi terbukti memiliki peran penting bagi kelangsungan kegiatan organisasi himpunan mahasiswa atau kinerja anggota organisasi tersebut. Budaya organisasi di lingkungan himpunan mahasiswa tersebut sangat baik. Kemudian ditambahkan dengan kinerja anggota di himpunan mahasiswa juga sangat baik. Salah satu faktor pendukungnya yaitu budaya organisasi yang mendukung dan memanusiakan anggotanya. Para pemimpin organisasi sudah seharusnya peduli dengan budaya organisasi karena akan berdampak langsung pada kinerja anggotanya, seperti kualitas dan kuantitas meningkat, antusiasme tinggi, berkontribusi dan merasa penuh bertanggung jawab. Walaupun demikian, pimpinan organisasi tetap harus mengevaluasi kinerja anggotanya secara berkala. Dengan adanya penilaian kinerja, organisasi memiliki informasi untuk menjadikan kinerja SDM menjadi lebih baik lagi. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
