      During the spring of 2023, two species of jewel beetles (Coleoptera, Buprestidae) were captured in southern departments where they were not yet referenced: Anthaxia candens candens (Panzer, 1792) in the Hérault department and Agrilus guerini Lacordaire, 1835 in the Gard department. Their respective host plants on which we got them are Prunus mahaleb L., 1753 (Rosaceae) et Salix purpurea L., 1753 (Salicaceae). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
