    • Abstract:
A systematic review conducted by researchers at National Taiwan Normal University explored the effects and key components of in-service special education teacher training in evidence-based practices (EBPs) for students with autism and developmental disabilities. The review identified six essential components of training programs, including didactic presentation, live modeling, video modeling, practical exercise, performance feedback, and on-site coaching. The findings suggest that training programs containing these components demonstrated 90% effectiveness on teachers' outcomes, with practical exercises and performance feedback being key components for improving the implementation of EBPs. The research provides recommendations for effective professional development for special education teachers. [Extracted from the article]
