    • Abstract:
Researchers at the University of Warsaw in Poland conducted a study on the efficacy of the Polish adaptation of the PEERS (R) curriculum for adolescents on the autism spectrum. The study included 29 adolescents aged 11-16 who were randomized into a Treatment and a Waitlist Control Group. The results showed that the PEERS (R) intervention had significant positive effects on the teens' social skills, knowledge about social skills, and the number of social interactions with peers. The study concluded that the Polish adaptation of PEERS (R) is feasible and effective, and further research on online/hybrid delivery of social skills training is encouraged.
