FOREWORD.

The Journal of Global South Studies is a scholarly publication that focuses on research related to the Global South. The spring 2024 issue features articles on topics such as political corruption in Africa, financialization in India, industrial modernization in China, and foreign policy in Nepal. The journal aims to provide a platform for interdisciplinary analysis and historical perspectives. The Association of Global South Studies, the parent organization of the journal, was established to promote the study of developing countries and improve the quality of life in those regions. The association has a global membership and chapters in South Asia and Africa. Membership in the association is open to anyone interested in studying developing countries, and the journal is available through yearly subscriptions or single copies.
