      The paper presents a discussion from a gender perspecVve on the representaVons of the nakba in PalesVnian cultural and poliVcal history as a site of memory. It invesVgates the narraVves built around this fundamental event of its history, as well as its reverberaVons within the community and its idenVty construcVon. Based on the bibliographical analysis, the selecVon of films on the subject and a series of interviews with scholars, filmmakers and acVvists, it proposes a reflecVon on the relevance and consequences of the nakba and its representaVons in PalesVnian cinema. Se indaga sobre las narraVvas construidas en torno a este hecho fundamental de su historia, así como sus reverberaciones al interior de la comunidad y su construcción idenVtaria.
