- Abstract: The article "Queens, Viceroys, and Aristocrats in the Iberian Monarchies. Studies on Women, Culture, and Diplomacy in the Early Modern Period" is a review of a book edited by Ezequiel Borgognoni. The book addresses the history of women in the Iberian monarchies during the 16th to 18th centuries, focusing on queens and aristocrats. The book presents works by researchers from various Spanish, European, and American universities, which enriches the work as a whole. It analyzes the political, social, and diplomatic role of these women, as well as their influence in the court and diplomacy of the time. The death of queens and the power they held in society at the time are also studied. Additionally, the role of viceroys in the American territories is analyzed. - Abstract: El artículo "Reinas, virreinas y aristócratas en las Monarquías Ibéricas. Estudios sobre mujeres, cultura y diplomacia en la Edad Moderna" es una reseña de un libro editado por Ezequiel Borgognoni. El libro aborda la historia de las mujeres en las monarquías ibéricas durante los siglos XVI al XVIII, centrándose en reinas y aristócratas. El libro presenta trabajos de investigadores de diversas universidades españolas, europeas y americanas, lo que enriquece la obra en su conjunto. Se analiza el papel político, social y diplomático de estas mujeres, así como su influencia en la corte y en la diplomacia de la época. También se estudia la muerte de las reinas y el poder que tenían en la sociedad de la época. Además, se analiza el papel de las virreinas en los territorios americanos.
