- Abstract:
A recent study conducted by researchers at Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China, explored the relationship between the expression of the chemokine CXCL9 and the prognosis of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). The study found that high levels of CXCL9 mRNA expression were associated with smaller tumors, earlier stages of cancer, and improved overall survival in TNBC patients. Additionally, low levels of CXCL9 protein expression were linked to increased lymph node metastasis. The researchers concluded that CXCL9 expression may serve as an independent prognostic factor for TNBC patients. [Extracted from the article]
