- Alternate Title:
Three Flamenco Dancers – Three Transcultural Stories. Transcultural Identity Ten Years Later. (English)
- Abstract:
This text analyses the explanatory potential of the concept of transcultural identity, inscribed in the broader framework of terms such as “transculturality” and “transculturation.” The author refers to a study of foreign flamenco dancers in Seville she conducted ten years ago. In the new research, she goes back to three of her respondents to learn about their subsequent transcultural steps. New, in-depth interviews are confronted with the previous research and analysed through the lens of transcultural identity extended by the concept of transcultural capital. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
- Abstract:
Niniejszy tekst, oparty na case studies, jest próbą analizy potencjału eksplanacyjnego pojęcia „tożsamości transkulturowej”, wpisanej w szersze ramy takich terminów jak „transkulturowość” i „transkulturacja”. Autorka, nawiązując do przeprowadzonych 10 lat temu badań obcokrajowców tańczących flamenco w Sewilli, wraca do trójki swoich respondentek, by poznać ich późniejsze transkulturowe kroki. Nowe, pogłębione wywiady konfrontuje z badaniami wcześniejszymi i analizuje je przez pryzmat tożsamości transkulturowej, poszerzonej o koncepcję kapitału transkulturowego. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
