    • Abstract:
Goldman Sachs has hired Danny Mintzer as a vice president for its energy tax investing group in New York City. Mintzer has previous experience in renewable energy investments at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America, and GE Energy Financial Services. At Goldman Sachs, Mintzer will focus on energy tax investing and participate in the new tax transferability market. This market has seen a surge in transactions since the US Treasury Department implemented tax transferability guidelines in June 2023. Goldman Sachs, along with JP Morgan and BNP Paribas, recently signed three tax equity agreements totaling $1 billion with Enel North America for solar and wind portfolios.
