- Abstract:
Oracle Corp.'s software, which is used by the US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to improve patient care, has been deemed a failure according to an internal survey. The VA has been renegotiating its $16 billion contract with Oracle due to poor performance and negative feedback from employees. The survey revealed that fewer than 1 in 5 doctors, nurses, and other VA health employees believe that Oracle's product enables them to deliver high-quality care. The VA is working to improve the system and has conducted surveys to better understand the experience of its providers. [Extracted from the article]
