The paper delves into the mechanisms of Schizophrenia as represented in James Rice's Alice and the Fly (2015). The paper purports to delineate the causes, symptoms, and the cure of Schizophrenia as delivered literarily in Alice and the Fly. The paper shows how the protagonist suffers from the stigma associated with mental illnesses in order to change the reader's attitude towards the mentally ill.
