- Abstract: The aim of this article is to examine in detail the functions of recreational activities in national parks in areas such as nature protection, education, reuse and recovery of idle forests. As a research method, a comprehensive literature review was conducted to explore the functions of recreational activities in national parks. The data obtained were thematically analyzed and organized, focusing on the various functions of recreational activities in national parks. According to the research findings, recreational activities play a vital role in serving many purposes in the functioning of national parks, such as education, conservation, awareness-raising, reuse, and the acquisition of idle forests. These activities help to balance human activities and nature, ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources. As a result, national parks provide visitors with opportunities to connect with nature, understand its value, and foster environmental awareness, encouraging them to adopt environmentally friendly practices. Therefore, promoting recreational practices in national parks and involving visitors and local communities in conservation efforts play an important role. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
