      En este artículo se analiza el poblamiento de la península de Yucatán durante el siglo XVI y junto a él una serie de materiales que contienen voces en préstamo latente entre el español y el maya (los cuales no son solamente eso, sino que representan todo un trasplante de contenido cultural), así como las características peculiares de los textos donde hay competencias de uso más idiolectal que dialectal entre las palabras mayas y españolas o que solamente muestran una actitud de lealtad hacia la lengua por el escribano bilingüe.       The settlement of the Yucatan Peninsula during the 16th Century is analysed, along with a series of materials that contain latent borrowing voices between Spanish and Mayan (which are not only that, but a complete transplant of cultural content) and the peculiar characteristics of texts in which there are competencies of more idiolectal than dialectal use between Mayan and Spanish words or only that show an attitude of loyalty towards the language by the bilingual scribe.
