    • Abstract:
Advocacy is often thought of as a promotion of facts and figures, but when sharing the needs of adult education programs, student stories that illuminate educational discrepancies can go further in their effectiveness. Challenges like the stark divide between homes that do and do not have reliable internet service can provide topics for conversation that illustrate students’ deficits and how they can be alleviated through public knowledge and funding.
