The article "Gender violence in northern Chile: intergenerational narratives of Aymara women" analyzes the experiences of gender violence and ethnic-racial discrimination of Aymara women in northern Chile. An intersectional and decolonial perspective was used to understand these experiences. The narratives of four women from different generations reveal the interweaving of gender, ethnicity/race, and class categories in their experiences. The importance of cultural identity and connection to the territory is highlighted in these narratives, as well as the transformation of gender patterns throughout the generations.
