Management of acute and chronic pancreatitis in cats. (English)
    • Abstract:
Pancreatitis are quite common in cats. Management of severe acute pancreatitis requires hospitalization. The treatment involves fluid therapy, analgesics, antiemetics and early nutritional support. Chronic cases are more commonly moderate and are associated with concurrent diseases (cholangitis, inflammatory bowel disease, etc.). Management of chronic pancreatitis involves the treatment of concurrent conditions. Use of antiinflammatory or immunosuppressive treatment is an interesting therapeutic option. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
