      A researcher from Doha, Qatar has conducted a study on the efficacy and safety of a surgical technique called transconjunctival levator aponeurosis-Muller muscle complex plication for correcting acquired ptosis (drooping of the eyelid) following double-eyelid surgery. The study evaluated 18 patients who underwent this procedure and found that it was minimally invasive, safe, and effective in correcting the ptosis. The patients reported a significant improvement in satisfaction, and there were no asymmetries or recurrences observed.
