POLICY MATTERS FOR BLACK YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH.

The article focuses on the urgent need to address mental health challenges faced by Black youth through systemic changes in K-12 education policies. Topics include the impact of zero-tolerance discipline policies that contribute to the school-to-prison pipeline, the inadequacy of color-ambivalent mental health policies, and the proposed development of inclusive policies through collaborative efforts with Black youth and their communities.
