    • Abstract:
      The research aimed to identify the differences between the results of the pre- and post-tests in developing the skill of smashing the volleyball for both the experimental and control groups of students and to identify the differences in the results of the post-tests in developing the skill of smashing the volleyball for the students for both the experimental and control groups . As for the hypotheses we found significant differences between the results of the pre- and posttests in developing the skill of smashing volleyball for both the experimental and control groups. The experimental method was used. The research population consisted of students in the second stage of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Dhi Qar for the year (2023-2024) the number of which was (102) students. The size of the research sample was (32) students from Division (B) as an experimental group and Group (A) as a control group using a lottery method. The results were presented analyzed and discussed It is concluded that the curriculum prepared according to the Thelin model has a positive impact in teaching students the skill of smashing volleyball and it is preferable to give the student the opportunity to provide solutions and ideas for the exercise according to Thelin's model which gives them self-confidence in the lesson and positive interaction [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
