- Abstract:
This correction notice addresses an error in the original article titled "Extracellular vesicles-coupled miRNAs from oviduct and uterus modulate signaling pathways related to lipid metabolism and bovine early embryo development." The authors reported that the last two sentences of the Results section in the Abstract were mistakenly placed at the end and should have been placed at the beginning. The corrected Results section provides information on the miRNA cargo in oviduct and uterus extracellular vesicles (OF-EVs and UF-EVs) during different phases of the luteal phase. It discusses the differentially expressed miRNAs and their predicted modulation of various pathways related to lipid metabolism and degradation. The study suggests that the differences in miRNAs between OF-EVs and UF-EVs may reflect different environments to meet the changing needs of the embryo, and miRNAs may play a role in regulating embryo lipid metabolism, immune system, and implantation.
