    • Abstract:
A study conducted by researchers at Pusan National University in South Korea compared the diagnostic performances of eight different imaging modalities for the detection of bone metastases in prostate cancer patients. The study found that 68Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT showed the highest values for sensitivity, positive predictive value, accuracy, and diagnostic odds ratio. Other imaging modalities, such as 18F-NaF PET/CT and SPECT/CT, also showed high values. However, bone scintigraphy and MRI were found to have limited diagnostic roles. The research was supported by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute. [Extracted from the article]
