      The present study examines the effect of gamma radiation pre-irradiation on the thermogravimetric analysis of tetrafluoroethylene-propylene elastomer (TPE). It was found that the weight loss of the pre-irradiated TPE decreased linearly with increasing aging time. The activation energy was determined to be 130 kJ/mol. The results show that pre-irradiation with gamma radiation reduces the lifespan of the elastomers to only 23% of the non-irradiated sample. [Extracted from the article]

      Die vorliegende Studie untersucht den Effekt der Gammastrahlungsvorbestrahlung auf die thermogravimetrische Analyse von Tetrafluorethylen-Propylen-Elastomer (TPE). Es wurde festgestellt, dass die Gewichtsabnahme des vorbestrahlten TPE linear mit zunehmender Alterungszeit abnahm. Die Aktivierungsenergie wurde auf 130 kJ/mol bestimmt.
