Conflicts, Culture of Peace and teaching of History. (English)

Conflict is inherent to human nature itself and is linked to its historicity. Conflicts have a double positive and negative aspect and are necessary because they enable the transformations that energize societies and allow them to evolve throughout History. From these premises we are going to reflect on the nature of conflicts and their resolution, the need to promote a Culture of Peace in the educational field and about how knowledge of the past in the present can help us in that sense. El conflicto es inherente a la propia naturaleza humana y va unido a su historicidad. Los conflictos presentan una doble vertiente positiva y negativa y son necesarios porque posibilitan las transformaciones que dinamizan a las sociedades y les permiten evolucionar a lo largo de la Historia. A partir de estas premisas vamos a reflexionar sobre la naturaleza de los conflictos y de su resolución, la necesidad de propiciar una Cultura de paz en el ámbito educativo y acerca de como el conocimiento del pasado en el presente nos puede ayudar en ese sentido.
