      Tras una breve exposición de mis relaciones personales con Pablo García Colmenares, se destacan las investigaciones de este catedrático de Historia Contemporánea de la Universidad de Valladolid en el campo de la represión franquista, haciendo hincapié en el libro que dedicó a la represión en Dueñas (Represión en una villa castellana de la retaguardia franquista, 2008), donde fueron asesinadas más de cien personas, 25 de ellas mujeres. García Colmenares hace una investigación exhaustiva a través principalmente de dos métodos: el análisis de archivos y, sobre todo, la entrevista a descendientes de los represaliados, principalmente hijos e hijas.       After a brief exposition of my personal relations with Pablo García Colmenares, the investigations of this professor of Contemporary History at the University of Valladolid in the field of Francoist repression are highlighted, emphasizing the book he dedicated to the repression in Dueñas (Repression in a Castilian town in the Francoist rearguard, 2008), where more than a hundred people were murdered, 25 of them women. García Colmenares carries out an exhaustive investigation through two main methods: file analysis and, above all, interviews with descendants of those subjected to reprisals, mainly sons and daughters.
