    • Abstract:
Dansk Træemballage A/S (DTE), the largest producer of wooden packaging in Denmark, has enhanced the precision and productivity of its sawmill by implementing CC-Link IE, an open gigabit Ethernet designed for industrial automation tasks. The sawmill, located in Ribe, processes over 300,000 m3 of raw timber annually, which is then used to assemble crates and pallets. The implementation of CC-Link IE has improved the quality and output of the lumber, resulting in increased productivity and business competitiveness for DTE. The technology also offers a flexible platform for future growth and simplifies management and maintenance. [Extracted from the article]
