    • Abstract:
The ruling coalition led by Prime Minister Donald Tusk is projected to win local elections in Poland, solidifying their power in the country. The coalition, known as the Civic Coalition, received 52.5% of the vote in the elections for regional assemblies, municipal councils, and city mayors. However, the Law & Justice party, the former ruling nationalists, still emerged as the most popular group with 33.7% of the vote. The elections come after Tusk's coalition unexpectedly won parliamentary elections, ending eight years of nationalist rule. Official results will be announced soon, and run-offs for mayoral races will take place on April 21. [Extracted from the article]
