Nacido en Londres en 1868, Still se convirtió en un destacado médico y profesor de enfermedades infantiles. En 1894, estudió casos de niños con una forma especial de artritis, que más tarde se conocería como la enfermedad de Still. The article presents the contribution of Dr. George Frederic Still to pediatric cardiology. Born in London in 1868, Still became a prominent physician and professor of childhood diseases. In 1894, he studied cases of children with a special form of arthritis, which later became known as Still's disease. Additionally, Still was a pioneer in studying abnormalities in children's moral control, laying the foundation for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. His contribution to the diagnosis of the most common innocent heart murmur in childhood, known as Still's murmur, is also highlighted. [Extracted from the article]
