    • Abstract:
In pregnancy, there is generally a physiological increase in coagulation activity. The severity of COVID-19 is also in line with the activation of coagulation pathways. One of the coagulation parameters is Ddimer. Increased D-dimer levels in COVID-19 pregnant women are associated with hypercoagulability. Changes in coagulation can risk the incidence of Intrauterine Fetal Death (IUFD) due to disruption of the supply of nutrients and oxygen from mother to fetus. The purpose of this research is to determine whether D-dimer levels in COVID-19 pregnant women and the incidence of Intrauterine Fetal Death (IUFD) at Dr. Moewardi Hospital are correlated. Methods: This study was conducted at Dr. Moewardi Hospital using cross-sectional approach. The number of samples required was 67 in medical records from March 2020 to March 2023. Data analysis using SPSS with the Chi-Square test. Results: The results of bivariate analysis on 67 samples of COVID-19 pregnant women consisting of 41 nonIUFD pregnant women and 26 IUFD pregnant women using Chi Square obtained a P-value of 0,000 (P<0,05) with an Odds-Ratio value of 15,111. Conclusion: There is a correlation between D-dimer levels in COVID-19 pregnant women and the incidence of Intrauterine fetal death (IUFD). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
    • Abstract:
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
