      The article informs that, hosted by the Imperial RC Club at the Lakeland Under Airport, Top Gun 2005 was held on April 27 to May 1, 2005. This year's Scale Invitational played host to 101 registered pilots, many of whom debuted never-before-seen aircraft. Contestants came from all points of the compass, including many international attendees to see who was the best and who would ultimately walk away with the title "Mr. Top Gun." This arrangement basically makes Pro/Am a pilot's event, relying on flight points to determine a winner.
