- Additional Information
- Abstract:
A study published in Clinical Case Reports discusses the case of a 70-year-old man with follicular lymphoma who presented with both hemorrhage and thrombosis. The patient was diagnosed with deep venous thrombosis and was found to have a nonneutralizing calcium-dependent antiprothrombin antibody, which is rare. The researchers concluded that investigating prolonged global coagulation tests led to the diagnosis of immune-mediated prothrombin deficiency. This case highlights the importance of proper differential diagnosis in challenging cases like this. [Extracted from the article]
