    • Abstract:
The article discusses a study by A. Lismer and colleagues, published in the issue on the lasting imprint of dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane DDT, that it causes widespread disruption of the sperm epigenome and that these changes are likely to be heritable. Topics include two classes of epigenetic marks in sperm assayed by the authors, finding which suggests the possibility that DDT's effect on the sperm epigenome is embedded in multiple mechanisms, and limitations discussed by the author.
