This article presents tips on dealing with a manufacturer of a defective product in the U.S. A Neuros Digital II Audio Computer was bought by a customer. The MP3 player was defective but Neuros Audio initially refused to provide a refund and instead sent a number of replacements for the product. The replacements also malfunctioned according to the customer so a refund was sent to him. There is no legislation that protects against defective computers and consumer electronics so paying with a credit card could be useful. Doing so offers protection under the Fair Credit Billing Act. Two Web sites are recommended to help customers on the matter.
