    • Abstract:
    • Abstract:
This article carries out a theoretical conceptualization that differentiates the great currents into which the great family of the extreme right is divided: the radical right and the extreme right. From there, we carried out a study on one of the most important characteristics that define the majority of current radical right political parties: anti-system populism and national populism. To determine populism, we will identify this distinctive feature from two different perspectives: one that considers such a phenomenon an ideology and another that describes it as a discursive factor. Finally, we will try to give some civic responses to the challenge to democratic governance posed by these political formations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
