      The article focuses on the importance of occupational health (OH) in the Decent Work Agenda. It emphasizing four objectives related to employment, worker rights, social security and OH; it discusses the current status of international OH efforts; revealing a gap in implementation despite shared goals among countries; and highlights challenges such as inadequate coverage, shortage of trained professionals and variations in OH structures.
