      The US conducted an airstrike in Iraq, killing the commander of an Iran-backed militia responsible for attacks on US forces. The strike was part of the Biden administration's campaign to target those responsible for the killing of three US soldiers. The US has been conducting airstrikes against Iranian and Iran-backed forces in Iraq and Syria in retaliation for previous attacks.
