- Abstract:
[Extracted from the article]

The Peruvian Air Force is looking to replace its fleet of combat aircraft and has considered several options, such as the Lockheed Martin F-16V Block 70, the Dassault Rafale, the FA-50 from KAI, and the RSK MiG-35. It is worth noting that the Rafale and the Gripen NG are the most evaluated options due to their capabilities and costs. Meanwhile, the FAP continues to use its Mirage 2000 and Sukhoi Su-25 for air defense operations. The final decision will depend on the available budgets and the political will of the government.
