- Abstract:
The article presents a case study of a 21-month-old girl with treatment-resistant autoimmune hepatitis and a STAT1 gain-of-function mutation. It is reported that despite initial therapy, the patient experienced severe relapses. It is further reported that treatment with the JAK inhibitor baricitinib led to significant improvement, emphasizing the potential efficacy of targeted immune treatments in specific genetic variants associated with autoimmune hepatitis.
